I’m Julia Berg

Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here.

Many clients often come to me struggling with their relationship with themselves. I'm passionate about helping you nurture a supportive connection with yourself — one filled with curiosity rather than judgment, compassion over harshness, confidence over doubt, and creativity over feeling uninspired. When we cultivate a rich inner relationship with ourselves, our connections with others naturally flourish.

My professional focus involves assisting individuals with complex trauma, perfectionism, anxiety, self-doubt, overthinking, people-pleasing, and depression.

My Approach

As a therapist practicing Internal Family Systems (IFS), my approach is rooted in the belief that each person has an innate wisdom and resilience. IFS views the mind as made up of different "parts," each with its own role, such as protecting or reacting to pain. Sometimes these parts are in conflict, leading to distress. IFS works by helping clients connect with their core Self, a compassionate inner leader, to understand and heal these parts. I also integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and somatic questioning to address trauma stored in the body, enhancing the healing process. Together, we explore emotions, heal past wounds, and cultivate self-awareness in a safe, supportive environment.
