Individual Therapy

Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that sees the mind as made up of different parts, each with its own feelings, beliefs, and roles.

IFS helps clients by facilitating a compassionate exploration and integration of these parts, guided by the client's core Self—their calm, compassionate, and confident inner presence.

In the context of trauma, IFS helps clients understand and heal the parts of themselves that have been wounded or are carrying burdens from past experiences. By working with these parts in a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, clients can reduce inner conflicts, release emotional burdens, and cultivate a more harmonious internal system. This process enables clients to access their innate resilience and strengths, promoting healing and integration of their traumatic experiences.
